Colegio Inmaculada Jesuitas
Our school is more than 60 years educating “citizens for a fare society” in the heart of Alicante city. Alicante is on the Mediterranean coast and it is well communicated with Madrid by train and airplane.
Our school has 1700 pupils from 3 to 18 years old and we are 110 teachers working everyday under the Jesuits art of teaching which has more than 500 years of tradition. The school offers a general learning programme to prepare the students for the university and we are very proud to say that the results in the national exams are excellent every year. The school is nowadays focused on ICT, innovation and the learning of foreign languages to prepare our students for the global world.
Since 2015 our school is immersed in a deep innovation project called Proyecto vein21uno which affects our whole school. Our main goal is to improve the teaching quality and give the best answer to the detected needs for our students and our society. Also students between 14 and 18 years old benefit from our wide volunteering programme, which covers immigration, refugees, disability and other groups in social exclusion like elder people and less economically favoured people. We have a wide experience in dealing with subjects concerning migrations.
